Attorney Paul R. Hernandez is a partner at Kalfus & Nachman, litigating on behalf of clients in personal injury cases throughout Virginia and North Carolina. He views himself not only as a client’s lawyer, but as their advisor, friend, and equal. He prides himself on telling it like it is, good or bad, and his clients can trust him to do just that. He is detail-oriented and likes to over-prepare his clients throughout the duration of their cases, ensuring that they feel comfortable and confident. His clients appreciate his easy-to-understand explanations and avoidance of legal jargon. His primary goal is to recover the maximum amount of financial compensation for his clients.
Mr. Hernandez, a Virginia native, majored in finance with a minor in accounting at Old Dominion University. He earned his law degree from Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law but also spent a year of his law school career at the College of William and Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law. Mr. Hernandez holds a Vice President position on the Executive Council at the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. On a local level, he works with the Casey Feldman Foundation, speaking to students at area schools to End Distracted Driving and the dangers of distracted driving. He also lends his legal knowledge to WAVY TV’s The Hampton Roads Show’s “Legal Matters” segment and is a frequent guest on WTKR TV’s Coast Live show. Mr. Hernandez is extremely proud to manage the seriously talented and experienced lawyers, paralegals and support staff here at Kalfus & Nachman.
