Max T. Barnes is an acclaimed Nashville singer-songwriter whose music has shaped country music for decades. Alongside his father, Max D. Barnes, he has contributed to over 70 million record sales, with 33 #1 hits recorded by legendary artists such as Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Vince Gill, George Jones, and Willie Nelson. His songwriting credits include classics like “Love, Me,” “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes,” and “Look At Us.” In 1993, Max and his father were both nominated for CMA Song of the Year, one of the highest honors in songwriting.

At The Bard Room, Max brings a songwriter’s perspective to storytelling, emphasizing tempo, brevity, and sensory engagement to help trial lawyers craft compelling narratives. His expertise in music and storytelling adds a dynamic layer to The Bard Room’s mission of helping professionals communicate with power and authenticity.
