Meet Christopher Yakubisin

Chris joined the firm in July of 2021 and has always focused his practice exclusively on plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. He has successfully litigated various personal injury cases, including automobile accidents, dog bites, premises liability cases, and medical malpractice cases. Chris has been featured in Virginia Lawyers Weekly for his work on these cases, including several verdicts and settlements exceeding $1 million. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers Rising Stars since 2021. Chris is licensed to practice in all Virginia Courts and the Eastern and Western District Courts of Virginia.

After graduating from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Chris moved to Virginia to attend William & Mary Law School in Williamsburg, Virginia. While at William & Mary, he worked with the Lewis B. Puller, Jr., Veterans Benefits Clinic to help veterans obtain the benefits they earned while serving the country. Chris was also a staff member on the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal and a Marshall-Brennan Constitutional Literacy Fellow.

Chris now lives in Richmond with his wife, two children, and their dog and cat. He and his family spend much of their free time exploring the parks and trails of the city and the Commonwealth. Whenever possible, they love seeing live music.
