Attorney Jennifer Gehringer Puerini has extensive legal experience serving individuals who have been seriously injured, including over a decade of working in Plaintiff’s firms in Providence, Newport and Washington D.C. She has held positions with the Legal Counsel to the Office of the Governor, the RI Attorney General’s Office, and the Department of Defense at the Naval Surface Warfare Center in Bethesda, Maryland. Jennifer also served as an intern to the Honorable Stephen Erickson in the Newport District Court. Her experience has provided her with a strong background in civil litigation, particularly medical malpractice and personal injury law.
Originally from the Washington D.C. area, Jennifer came to Rhode Island to attend Salve Regina University, where she graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in political science. Jennifer attended the Roger Williams University School of Law, and was one of the founders of the Transnational Law Journal at Roger Williams. Throughout her academic career, Jennifer maintained a true passion for both medicine and the law, and she carries this passion into her medical malpractice work. In addition to medical malpractice cases, Jennifer’s practice also focuses on personal injury/auto/wrongful death and dram shop cases, which are a true niche for Jennifer who has an extensive background in the restaurant and bar industry.
