Jennifer “Jenn” Denker joined Meehan, Boyle, Black & Bogdanow immediately after completing a coveted two-year federal clerkship in the United States District Court of Connecticut in the Chambers of the Honorable Janet Bond Arterton, where she assisted with several trials, conducted complex legal research, drafted memoranda on a wide-ranging array of legal topics, and was able to observe and internalize effective trial advocacy both at the motions and trial stages of litigation. As part of her clerkship, Attorney Denker also accompanied Judge Arterton to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, where the Judge served by designation.
Passionate about using her skills to help others, Attorney Denker has developed a special interest in and focus on cases involving sexual assaults, but also handles a variety of different types of cases including product liability, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and motor vehicle collisions. She has proven an excellent second chair at trial and an adept legal researcher and writer. Her significant contributions to legal research and complex brief writing on a sexual assault civil matter led to an extremely favorable settlement. Attorney Denker is the Chair of the Young Lawyers Division of the Massachusetts Federal Bar Association and is also actively involved in multiple other bar associations on a state and national level.
Attorney Denker is a 2012 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth and received her J.D. in 2016 from Northeastern University School of Law. A former athlete, she is a sports enthusiast with a particular love for all Boston teams, and is known to be a fierce competitor in all that she endeavors.
