Michael Hanby graduated cum laude from Boise State University and received his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law. While in law school, he served as Fall Edition Editor of the Idaho Law Review and participated in the Semester in Practice program where he interned for the Honorable Larry M. Boyle, U.S. District Court.
Michael’s legal practice focuses on representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases, medical malpractice claims, automobile and trucking accidents and wrongful death cases. He also handles insurance disputes, bad faith insurance claims, and insurance agent errors and omissions. Michael proudly serves on the board of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association and is a member of American Association of Justice. These organizations are dedicated to preserving access to justice to individuals, regardless of their financial means.
Michael and his wife, Samantha, have three daughters, Paige, Kenna and Jossyln. In their free time, the family enjoys cheering for the Broncos and taking advantage of all that Idaho has to offer.
